Tina Louise Barbier

Tina Louise Barbier, 53, of Caldwell, passed beautifully in her sleep, to enter Heaven, on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Tina fought a long, 19-year battle with heart disease and was surrounded by family and friends.
She was a devoted mother. Her driving force was her daughter, Kayla. Kayla was the light in her eye and everything Tina did was for her. They had a bond no one could touch and took on this world together.
In 2011, Kayla met her husband, Corey Hammons, who was the only person allowed to call Tina “Louise.” With this, Tina gained two beautiful granddaughters, Kaydence and Nevaeh. Other than Mom, Gram was her next favorite title. In 2014, Tina met Curtis Hammons and built a fantastic relationship that lasted until the end.
Tina lit up every room she entered and touched many lives. She always told everyone she would be there for them day or night and lived a life proving it. She knew her time here on earth was limited and made the most of every moment that she could up until her last breath.
She loved gardening. She was also thrifty; spending many hours at thrift stores, auctions and yard sales; she could never pass up a good bargain. Tina loved the ocean, long scenic drives, cooking and most of all, making people laugh. There is something to be said about the many jokes and one liners that she would say and the imprints she left on people.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruth Riley. Her fiancé Brent Thomas, and many other loved ones.
She is survived by: her daughter, Kayla; son-in-law, Corey; granddaughters Kaydence and Nevaeh; fiancé Curtis and numerous family and friends.
A private celebration of life will be held by family at a later date.
