Arden Gale Casper passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 82. He was born October 24, 1939 in Nampa, Idaho to David Oscar Casper and Gladys Nona Berry and had one older brother Kenneth David Casper. While attending College High (now known as Nampa Christian High), he began his first business repairing TV’s. He furthered his education in electronics at Northwest Nazarene College under the professorship or Virgil Vail. After two years in his TV repair business he expanded his company to include mobile telephones calling the new company Arden’s Communications, which later became Tel-Car Inc. He owned Tel-car for over 35 years at the location on Fairview Avenue in Meridian, supplying both mobile phone and answering services. After closing his business in the early 2000's, He continued to consult in computer electronics and was an avid Ham radio enthusiast. On September 8, 1962 he married Marcene Borah and had three daughters, Dianna (1963), Deborah (1965) and Heather (1969). In June 20, 2009 he married Ruby Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia and enjoyed travelling with her. In addition to all things electronics, he enjoyed snowmobiling, camping at Redfish Lake in Stanley, Idaho, a favorite family activity. He loved dachshunds and had several over the years. He was a long-time member of Boise First Church of the Nazarene, raising his girls there and sending them to his alma mater, Nampa Christian High School. He is survived by his wife Ruby Thompson, daughter Dianna (Colby) Dees, daughter Debbie (Scott) Vance, grandson Zane (Kelsey) Dees, grandson Scotty (Danielle) Vance, grandson Saxton (Jennifer) Dees, grandson Spencer (Reagan) Vance, grandson Chase (Alyssa) Dees, and five great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Wellsprings in Nampa for their loving care of our husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Gladys, brother Kenneth and daughter Heather. A private family service will be held at Cloverdale Funeral Home.
