Betty Irene Ramsey

Betty was born in Hailey, Idaho to Claude and Irene McKercher on July 24th, 1930. The Family moved to Boise when Betty was in the second year of school. She attended Pierce Park, North Junior High and graduated from Boise High in 1948. Betty met and married Dale Ramsey on June 30, 1949, having two boys Michael D. and C. Jackson. She clerked in several photo shops, was a volunteer for an assisted living company, and AARP. Our son Jack with help, built our cabin in Valley County, Betty’s most favorite place to be. Betty was proceeded in death by her parents, son Jack and her brother Claude Jr.

She is survived by her husband Dale, her son Mike, and three grandchildren; Amber Howard, Suzanne Kerr and Michael Ramsey. She also has six great grandchildren.

Betty’s Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Wright Community Congregational Church, located at 4821 W Franklin Rd, Boise, ID 83705.
