Tribute

Carleen Anne Flesch, 70, of Boise, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018.
Carleen was born on December 8, 1947 to Carl and Margot Jessen in Milwaukee, WI where she grew up with three siblings: Janith, Marjean and Carl. She graduated from Dominican High School and received her college degree at Boise State. She worked at St. Luke’s as a medical records specialist until she retired last year.
While attending a church youth group, she met her future husband, Richard Flesch. They were married on December 5, 1970. They had two children, Jason and Jonathan. After they married, they moved to numerous states before settling in Idaho, where she would spend out the rest of her life. Carleen had two grandchildren, Alice and Lucas, who were her pride and joy.
Throughout her life, Carleen had a love for music. She sang in many church choirs during her years and had a deep appreciation for the arts. She was a devout member of St Mary’s Parish. Later in life, she enjoyed simple walks around the neighborhood and her furry companions. Her passion and love for dogs resulted in sharing their home with 10 of them, 5 of whom were rescues. She loved all dogs, but mini dachshunds were her favorite.
Carleen is survived by her husband Richard; sons Jason (Christine) Flesch and Jonathan Flesch, her grandchildren Alice and Lucas, brother Carl (Lynn) Jessen and many others who loved her.
She will join her parents and sisters as well as many other family and friends who have passed.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 7pm at Cloverdale Funeral Home with a viewing being held an hour prior.
