Doreen Phyllis Stewart

Doreen P. Stewart passed away at the age of 90 in Boise, Idaho. Her loving family was by her side. She bravely fought the disease that took her life.

Doreen was born September 23, 1927 in N. Vancouver, Canada to Thomas and Nellie Horne. She married Joe Stewart soon after and moved to Boise where they raised their sons. She worked at Swan Insurance as a bookkeeper and retired from there. Soon after she was partners in the UPS store with son, Terry, and daughter-in-law, Karen. She was very active at Bogus Ski area in the City Recreation Ski School. She loved to travel and looked forward to her days at the Senior Center.

Doreen was preceded in death by her husband Joe, son Mark, brother Roy Horne, and sister Alma Millikin. She is survived by her sons, Terry (wife Karen) and Jay; grandsons, Chris and Tyler, and great granddaughter Dana.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Cloverdale Funeral Home located at 1200 N. Cloverdale Rd. in Boise, Idaho. Interment will follow the service at Cloverdale Memorial Park at the same location.
