Tribute

Franklin Dee Searle (Frank)
1939-2018
Frank was a genuine man. You could see it in his smile and the sparkle in his eye. He never met a stranger, and was everyone’s grandpa, friend or father. He took in all of the strays, two legged and four. He loved to spend time with his family, make jokes with his friends and spoil any children within a 20-foot radius. He was a hard worker, yet knew how to have fun. Frank had the best poker face of the card crew. He had a love of music and could play any stringed instrument, although he couldn’t read a note. He played in a band that headlined in several local bars before working as a heavy machine operator. Later, he found his love of agriculture and became an icon among Eagle landowners as THE FARMER. In the winter months, he cleared snow for local businesses and only sometimes billed for it. He had a special love of the holidays and would take his family and neighbors on hay rides. He would even dress as a believable Santa for all of the kids. He was a support that never quit coming and you could trust in his word. He was at rodeos, sporting events, and always there when you needed help solving a problem. Frank was a man who would give you the shirt off of his back, or the one that he found off of the side of the road. He would let you borrow any form of equipment off of the farm, even if it wasn’t his in the first place. He loved to swap tales and truly enjoyed the company of others. He was full of life, the do all, be there for you kind of guy.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Frank is survived by a large number of friends and family. We will love and forever cherish memories of him.

The family would like to invite all who knew Frank to a celebration of life at a barn gathering. To be held on Saturday, November 17 at 2pm. Located at 9107 West McMillan Road, Nampa, ID, 83687. The family will provide a taco bar, feel free to bring a dessert and a story to share.
