Joyce M Beck

Joyce M. Beck passed away Monday August 10, 2020 with her Daughter Kim at her bedside.
Joyce was born May 25, 1940 in Santa Paula California. She moved with her family to Alaska in the early 1950’s and settled in Ketchikan. She graduated from Ketchikan High School in 1958. She attended Bob Jones University and earned her Secretarial Certificate. She graduated from Bemidji State University cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work.
She worked as a Social Worker in Alaska and Washington. Joyce was the proud Mother of three children and a loving wife to Paul, whom she was married to for 47 years. She was a wonderful grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She loved her 3 sisters and all of their families.
Joyce was a devoted Christian and enjoyed people, her church and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son Bill, daughters Kim and Cheryl, her grandchildren Emma, Josie, Brandy, Trinity, Jake, Isaac, great-grandchildren, EZ and Jax, and her sisters Jeanie, Diane, and Darlene.
Her family would like to recognize the loving care she received as a resident of Paramount Parks and the care she received from Keystone Hospice.
