Kathleen Rae Kuhlmann

September 9, 1951 ~ October 12, 2021 (age 70) 70 Years Old

Tribute

With a sad heart we said goodbye to Kathleen (Kathy) Rae Kuhlmann. Kathy was 70 years old when she passed away at St. Alphonsus, Boise Idaho on October 12, 2021.

Kathy was born on September 09, 1951, at St. Luke's In Boise Idaho to Luella Hull. Kathy was the youngest of seven children.  Throughout Kathy’s life she resided in Washington, Oregon, and finally made her way back to settle in Idaho.  Kathy married her lifelong dance partner Mike Kuhlmann on September 28, 1984.  With this union they raised three amazing children Shane David Benjamin, Kristie Lee Kuhlmann, and Jayden Tyler Kuhlmann.  Kathy and Mike loved to country dance; they took 2nd place in Las Vegas at a competition.

Kathy’s favorite past times were spent dancing, supporting BSU football, fishing, and watching her son rodeo. Kathy’s greatest achievements were her 3 children, and her 2 grandchildren Julie, and Braxton. Kathy was also extremely passionate about assisting in the organization of parents of murdered children (POMC), as her daughter was taken from her too soon.
Kathy is survived by her husband Mike Kuhlmann, sons Shane Benjamin, and Jayden (Morgan) Kuhlmann, Brothers Kent and Keith, two grandchildren, two great granddaughters, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is also survived by her three fur babies Pearl, Frost, and Ridge.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mom Luella, Her daughter Kristie, her sisters Jackie, Pat, and Alice. One brother, Sonny.
Kathy’s graveside service will be held at Cloverdale Cemetery on October 30, 2021, at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's children's hospital in Kathy’s name.

A Wife, A Mother, A Grammie too

A Wife, A Mother, a Grammie too,
This is the legacy we have for you.

You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength; you gave us might.

A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.

You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife, not just as a mother.

For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.

So go in peace, you have earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we will eternally keep.

Passionate, Devoted, Loving
Forever in our hearts.
