Kevin Christopher McQuillan

Kevin Christopher McQuillan, beloved son, brother and uncle, died Monday, August 13, 2018 at the age of 49. He is survived by his mother, Jan Volkman, sister Teri McQuillan Weisensel, brother-in-law Mark Weisensel, and nephew Jack Weisensel—all of Boise.
By his family in particular, Kevin will be remembered for his deeply loving, kind, caring and generous nature, as well as his unwavering and wise sense of justice and personal integrity. We know there will be many days ahead when we will miss his heart, mind and quiet wisdom. Not to mention…his amazing music and film knowledge, and his gift for offering just the right song and film recommendation for any occasion.
Kevin was employed in the IT Department as a Data Warehouse Analyst for Blue Cross of Idaho in Meridian. During his career in Boise, he also worked for BMC and Micron. His IT career in earlier years brought him to Oakland, CA and Seattle, WA. Wherever he worked, Kevin was appreciated for his dedication, intelligence and keen problem solving skills.
He graduated from Bella Vista High School in Citrus Heights, CA in 1987 and from Sacramento State University in 1991.
A memorial service will be held for Kevin at Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 4PM.
