Tribute

Linda was born March 20, 1940 to Maynard and Eunice Wright in Columbia, South Dakota, the 3rd child of 4. In 1942 the family relocated to Boise, Idaho. Linda attended Whitney elementary, South Jr High and Boise High School. On May 11, 1957 she married the love of her life, Steve Bilbao and in March of 1962 their precious daughter Dana Jo was born. Husband Steve began a 7 year career with the Quaker Oats Company where promotions moved them from Boise to Spokane, Chicago, Pittsburg and finally to Acton, Mass. His untimely death in 1974 left Linda and Dana heartbroken and reeling as to their future. They remained in Acton for 2 years before returning to her familiar Boise to be near family.

Linda then became a working Mom employed by Broadbend Company and then the Idaho State Department of Water resources from which she retired in 2007. She loved to travel with her favorite destination being Hawaii. She had a soft heart for animals from the wildlife in her back yard to her precious kitties. Maintaining a spotless home, talented and supremely organized, she sewed and crocheted for family and charities. She was a superb cook and baker and loved playing cards and board games. A testament to her organization and zeal she created detailed and descriptive books for each family member for her parent’s 50th wedding anniversary and her mom’s 80th birthday celebration.
As a Christian called by her Lord Jesus she relied on her deep faith to get through her many trials in life.
Preceding her in death were her Husband Steve Bilbao, brother Jim Wright(Barbara), Father Maynard and Mother Eunice Wright.
Surviving her are daughter Dana Miller (James) and children Allie Moore (Thomas), Alexandra and Emma, Her brother Jerry Wright (Ellie) and family. The family of Brother Jim Wright, Sister Diana “Dee Dee” Grisham (Mike) and family.
Her generosity knew no bounds and this light to so many people will be sorely missed. She is laid to rest awaiting resurrection glory next to her beloved Steve and her parents at Cloverdale Cemetery.
Blessed thanks to the Caregivers of Harmony Hills assisted living and of Idaho Home Health and Hospice. They have been a great blessing to Linda and her family as well.
