Minnie Alice Ball

Minnie Ball, born on April 25, 1924, passed away on November 8, 2018 at the age of 94; surrounded by her family. Minnie was born in Garden Valley, ID. She moved to Boise as a young child with her siblings and parents, Myrtle and Albert Holcomb.
In Minnie’s younger years she worked at Owyhee Candy Company, now knows as the Idaho Candy Company. She loved the outdoors. Her favorite past times were camping, fishing, canning and gardening. Her flower beds were beautiful!
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ball, two sisters, Ellen Schultz and Mable Schultz, four brothers: Jonny, Oscar, Lester and Gene Holcomb, and her son, Roger Newton.
Minnie is survived by her daughter, Joyce Newton, her six grandchildren: Chris Phillips, Mindy Neal, Jennifer Sander, Linda Kidd, Gina Freeman and Mike Newton and 12 great grandchildren.
She will be missed dearly.
