Norman Kenneth Doering
Norman Kenneth Doering, passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 87. He was born September 26th, 1935 and raised by his parents Herman and Marie Doering in Baraboo, Wisconsin where he lived and attended school.

Norm married Juanita Mae Francois on January 24, 1959. He worked full time at a local paint shop in Baraboo and joined the Air Force Reserves. Shortly after, he became full time Air National Guard. While in Wisconsin, Norm and Juanita were blessed with four children: Randy, Laurie, Lisa and Tom. In 1975, he was transferred to the Idaho Air National Guard at Gowen Field in Boise, Idaho. He honorably served his country for 39 years and retired in 1995 as Sr Master Sergeant. Norm’s constant faith in Jesus kept him strong throughout his life, especially as his health declined.

After retirement, Norm worked 18 years for De Zbrowski at J Micheal’s Florist Shop in Boise with Cal Goode-a fellow retired military servicemen. He loved delivering flowers and making people’s day! Dad and Mom took pride in everything they did. They always had a beautifully groomed yard, amazing raspberries and wonderful plant starts to share. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Dad was a loyal Green Bay Packer fan, Boise State Bronco fan, and Dairy Queen soft serve vanilla cone fan.
Dad and Mom were the BEST grandparents..they actually had a secret garden in their back yard just for them and the kids to have snacks and read books! How blessed!!

Norm is survived by two sons, Randy & Tom and his wife Susan; two daughters Laurie & Lisa and her husband Chad; one brother Gary Doering and his wife Sherry. Also, grandchildren Shelby (Cody) David, Taylor Higbee, Matthew and Alyssa Doering & great-grandchildren Riley and Rhett David and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Juanita, his parents, and his sister Alice Marie Ulrich.

The entire family thanks everyone who expressed their love by calling, posting, texting and stopping by with heartfelt hugs. The outpouring of love and support is appreciated beyond words and reflects how much Norm meant to them.
