Rosalie Marlowe Vogler (born June 19, 1941) passed away on July 20, 2019 at Overland Court Senior Living and Memory Care in Boise, Idaho. Rosalie was born in Dallas, TX, where she taught junior high school from 1969-1972 after getting her undergraduate degree from Milligan College. From 1977-1980 she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Liberia where she wrote classroom curricula and trained school teachers. While living in New York City, she worked for Family Planning International Assistance where she traveled to Nepal and Bangladesh to educate women about contraception. Rosalie received a masters degree from Columbia University and taught special education for the New York City Department of Education. In 1990 Rosalie moved to Boise, ID, where she taught special education for the Boise School District until retiring. She married James (Jim) K. Vogler in 1999, who also worked for the school district. They spent their summers RV traveling and sampling the fine wines of the Pacific and Inland Northwest.

Rosalie is survived by Al Marlowe (brother), Jean Marlowe (sister-in-law), Karl Marlowe (nephew), Karol Marlowe (niece), Shaun Vogler (stepson), and Philip Vogler (stepson), four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, James K. Vogler, preceded her in death on January 24, 2019.
