Sally Ann Loughmiller

March 19, 1942 ~ February 24, 2024 (age 81) 81 Years Old

Sally Ann Tennant Loughmiller was born on March 19, 1942 to Leonard and Virginia Brown Tennant in Fairmont, West Virginia.
Sally graduated from East Fairmont High School in 1960. Upon graduation, she moved to Washington DC and after a year, she and a girlfriend decided to move to Hawaii with just a one-way ticket. She spent a year in Hawaii where she met her first husband. To that union, two children were born Kelly Grosso Larrondo and Brian Grosso.
Sally met her husband Bob while skiing at Bogus Basin. She worked and received a BS degree in communications from BSU while raising two children. She worked at the Bureau of Reclamation as a computer specialist.
Sally also enjoyed camping and fishing and even caught a sturgeon on the Columbia River but enjoyed a pan of trout for dinner more. She was a Master Gardner and maintained a beautiful yard with lots of flowers. She played the piano and was an exceptional artist. Sally always loved her pets Cloud, Ginger, Murdoch and Hank.
Upon retiring, she and Bob traveled the world. Unfortunately, she struggled with medical issues during her last few years and passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on February 24, 2024.
Sally is survived by her husband, four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Mike.
A memorial service will be held honoring Sally on March 18, at 11 at the Boise Methodist Church Cathedral of the Rockies.
