Stephen T Irzyk

Our loving and faithful son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and friend.  Proud son of Tex and Beryle.  Loving brother to Gary, Julie, and Mary.  Father of John and Jacob.  Grandfather to Austin, Justin, and Zachary.  Loving uncle to Angela, Jessa, Joe, Chris, Jack, Libby, Stephen, Hillary, Molly, and Emma and their families.  A caring friend to all, and a lover of dogs, cats, horses, owls, hawks, birds and every living thing.

Stephen faithfully served our country in the Navy during the Vietnam war from 1969-1973, Gunner’s mate, 3 tours, USS Bradley, Moon Tide battle group, and Seal Lords.

A hard worker who loved the sun, rain, wind in his face and on his back while working the land with all its equipment on our beloved wheat ranch in Sherman County where he counted himself blessed to grow up on and make a living from.

Possessing a photographic memory, teller of funny stories, a great jokester and wonderful listener who committed everything to his sharp mind to be called upon as our family historian.

He was a man of simple pleasures, enjoying a good cup of coffee, walker of many miles with his favorite side kick Nikki and constant companion and when he could take a few days the Oregon coast called his name with many fine days walking the promenade and beaches at Seaside.

And most of all, he was One of Mary Eva’s boys <3
