Ann was born August 21st, 1922 in Salmon, Idaho to Otis Blue Bailey and Elvina (Patterson) Bailey.  Ann was the youngest of eight children.  She had three sisters (Mae, Hazel, and Pearl) and four brothers (Cloyd, Jim, Tom, and Otis).   Ann was raised and educated in Boise.

Ann was proud to be from an old pioneer family.  Her grandfather, Thomas Benton Patterson, and his wife Elvina moved the family and a herd of sheep from Clay County, Texas in 1866, and settled a ranch near Lima, Montana.  They brought Ann's mother, Elvina, who was two years old at the time.  Otis Blue Bailey, Ann's Dad, was born March 28, 1878 on the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma.  Otis Blue was half Cherokee.

Ann is survived by her husband, Phil, whom she met in 1959.  It was love at first sight for both of them.  Survibors include two daughters, Lee Anna Chriswell and Judy Knight, Judy's husband Bill Knight, grand children Alicia, Austin, Rick, Tina, Lisa, Frankee, Travis, Mystria, Trip and Kicker, and adopted grandson Mike Kostoff.  Ann is also survived by great grand children Alyssa, Kai, Addison, Jaxon, Aaron, Brian, Brandon, Evan, and Kyle.  Grandson Rick preceded Ann is passing.

Ann was a loving wife, mother, grand mother, and great grand mother, with a very outgoing personality, and never knew a stranger.  She loved her family very much and always demonstrated it.  She said she is on her way to Heaven because Jesus loves her, as we all do.
