Kenneth R Keck

December 14, 2018

Tribute

KENNETH RONALD KECK, 82, whose real citizenship is in heaven, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ, on 14 December 2018.
His creator God granted him the following ordering of his earthly life: BORN in Notus Idaho on 11 August 1936 to Sherman and Doris Keck, the oldest of eight children; RAISED on the family farm in Nu-Acres Idaho; GRADUATED Fruitland High School in 1954; MARRIED Merlyn Jean Milton, his childhood sweetheart and the only girl he ever dated on 6 July 1955; FIRST CAREER 24 years in the United States Air Force, in which he spent time serving in 48 of 50 states, plus his tour in Thailand, joining as an Airman Basic in 1955, commissioned as a regular officer in December of 1966; earned two masters degrees (mathematics and computer science) and became an associate professor of mathematics at the United States Air Force Academy; RETIRED USAF as a Major on 31 December 1979.
PROMOTED by God to be a child of God in August 1974; taught Word of God for 31 years and occasionally was a pastor of churches in Emmett Idaho until a series of hospital-related illnesses forced him to retire; RETIRED second time in 2008 and moved to Nampa Idaho and later to Meridian Idaho. Until his death, he spent almost all of his time studying the Bible and praying
FATHER of Stuart Lee (wife Valerie), Kerry Ann and Michael Dean (deceased); Grandfather of six; Great-Grandfather of four.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father and mother, 3 brothers, his son Michael and a host of very good Christian friends who got promoted before him!
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is his God, his Lord, his Savior: his Life and his eternity. The only thing that matters here on earth or in heaven where Kenneth is now is that God’s will be done and God’s name be glorified; all else is vanity of vanities! (Pictures taken of Kenneth here on earth are inappropriate; since he has been glorified and doesn’t look the same anymore!)
Kenneth left behind only one desire:   that ALL of his family come to know the Lord as He knows Him!
