Steven Matthew Baker

On the morning of April 11, 2019, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Steven (Steve) Matthew Baker passed away at his Boise home peacefully at the age of 58 surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born on March 21, 1961 in Titusville, FL to Charles and Frankie Baker. When he was a child, his family moved to Idaho where he made his home for the past 50 years. Steve is survived by his best friend and loving wife Kerith (Keri) Baker, whom he married on April 17, 2010, his three children Dani (Brent) Barney, Cory (Courtney) Baker, Jalen Allen and his two grandsons Carter Barney and Logan Reverd. He is also survived by his mother Frankie Roy and his two brothers Mark Baker and Eric Baker. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Charles Baker.
   Steve was a devoted husband, father and friend. He had an illuminating smile and amazing sense of humor that he shared with everyone around him. He enjoyed running, lifting weights, fishing, camping, being at the ocean, collecting antiques and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Steve will be greatly missed by all of those who loved and knew him. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday,  April 27 from 2-5pm at The Stonehouse (709 E. Park Blvd., Boise next to the Ram). The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Luke’s Hospice for their support in his final days.
