Cloverdale Funeral Home Cemetery and Cremation is proud to offer our families the finest personalized cremation and burial services. We invite you to become familiar with our options prior to meeting with a member of our staff for the arrangement conference.
Similar in design to the traditional casket, wood cremation caskets are constructed specifically for cremation. These caskets allow for public ceremony and visitation with a traditional setting prior to the cremation. Many of the features found on traditional burial caskets are also available on Cremation Caskets like personalized embroidered cap panels.
Alternative Containers are designed for the dignified handling of a loved one with a simple design, minimal interior and rigid construction. All crematories in the Treasure Valley require an alternative container. The minimum alternative container is made of cardboard and has no interior.
Depending upon the family's desire for the cremated remains, urns are available for niche placement, burial, home display or scattering. These urns are made of metal, wood and stone and come in many different shapes and designs. We also offer urns that are Biodegradable and will return your loved one to the natural elements with minimal disruption. Many of the urns also allow for the personalization of your loved one from a simple name to a complete laser design.
Many do not realize you can
The Cremation Urn Vault is a cremation urn to hold the cremated remains. You have many elegant choices in wide-ranging styles and sizes constructed of solid-cast bronze, pewter, hardwoods, plastics, and other durable materials. You can also enhance the cremation urn through personalization choices that distinguish your loved one's cherished life.
Wood, a natural and environmentally sound choice, is selected for its warmth, beauty, and uniqueness. A variety of different woods offer an array of personalized choices.
Bronze, a semi-precious material alloy, is the strongest and longest-lasting of any casket construction material. Bronze is resistant to corrosive elements, and makes an elegant, exquisite remembrance.
Copper, a precious metal, is known for its longevity, beauty and resistance to corrosion. Copper is one-third stronger than stainless steel, and its combination of strength and beauty helps memorialize a remarkable life.
Stainless steel, an alloy of carbon steel and chromium, provides strength and resistance to corrosion at an economical price.
Steel, known for its affordability and long-lasting performance, is one of the most popular casket materials. From the highest quality 16-gauge to a minimum quality 20-gauge, thickness determines the general quality and price.
A unique feature built into the casket, the MemorySafe Drawer can be used to display cherished keepsakes during the visitation, or to secure private mementos and farewell messages.
Added to the corners of the casket, placed in an alcove or displayed on a memory table, LifeSymbols designs are a touching expression of the spirit, personality and interests of a loved one. These popular casket enhancements are also used as individual keepsakes for family and friends, and include themes for patriotism, gardening, sports, family relationships and spirituality.
Located in the lid of the casket, tribute panels provide a personal way to highlight a loved one's interests, hobbies or values. Choices include spiritual symbols, organizational emblems, favorite pastimes or special relationships.

When a family purchases a Batesville casket, our funeral home will arrange for a tree to be planted through Batesville's Living Memorial® program. Sometimes the extra touches make all the difference in the world. Consider Batesville’s Living Memorial tree planting program...a simple concept that has grown from its inception in 1976 to become a major contributor to reforestation with more than 11 million trees planted as a lasting memorial to loved ones.
A burial vault is a lined and sealed outer receptacle that houses the casket. It protects the casket from the weight of the earth and heavy maintenance equipment that will pass over the grave. It also helps resist water and preserves the beauty of the cemetery or memorial park by preventing the ground from settling. High-quality structural concrete establishes our vaults’ strength. Bonded interior liners of high-impact thermoformed plastics such as ABS Marbelon™, ABS Trilon®.
