Sorry to see Al had passed away. What a great friend! Al and I worked together in Colstrip Montana for 4 years; besides working on the same power plant, we skied, hiked, backpacked, worked on each other's cars, and just plain had fun. Fond memories of really good guy!

I am sorry to hear about Al's passing. I worked with him at INEEL from about 1998 to 2001 and I still consider him to be one of the best mentors that I ever had for project management. I liked reading what you had written about him and spreadsheets. I used to keep a Dilbert cartoon in my office that said something like "Nothing is more dangerous than a boss with a spreadsheet." Of course I never had to worry about Al being dangerous as my boss but that cartoon always made me think of Al and his spreadsheets. He really was a whiz! It is nice to see all the photos of his outdoor adventures and his family. I hope that you all are comforted in the great man that he was and I am sorry that he left you too early. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.
