I am the Grounds Superintendent. I am responsible for the care and maintenance of our cemetery grounds including the mausoleums, cremation gardens and niches.I have been the grounds superintendent since October 2011. I began my career as a grounds crew member at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell. With over 7 years of cemetery maintenance experience, I am responsible for a crew of 4 full-time team members.Since I'm a native of the Treasure Valley, nothing makes me feel more proud than giving back to the community that I love and that my family loves. When I am not at Cloverdale, I enjoy hunting, fishing and being outdoors in Idaho’s beautiful mountains.
I am the Office Manager responsible for all of the administrative functions of our company including records keeping, human resources and staffing.Originally from California I moved to Idaho in the 90s to attend school at the University of Idaho. It was there that I met and married my husband in 1996. I worked in the building supply industry for 15 years before starting my career in the funeral industry. I began working as the administrator at our sister cemetery Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in 2008. In September of 2012, I was promoted to Office Manager and quickly made the changes necessary to allow our business to become more engaged with our client families. As the mother of 4 active children, I spend most of my free time on the field or court at a number of sports cheering on my children. We love to travel as a family and entertain at our home in Boise.
I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from West
High School in 1997. Right after high school I joined the Army and spent 4
years active duty at Fort Sill, Oklahoma then another 6 years as a member of
the Oklahoma National Guard. As a member of Operations Iraqi Freedom and
Enduring Freedom I received many awards including the Bronze Star Medal while
in Iraq. I started in the Funeral Industry as a part time job while I was
attending college and grew to love taking care of people, both the deceased and
their families. I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2005
with a Bachelor’s degree in Funeral Science. I have been working as a Funeral
Director/Embalmer since 2005 in Southwest Oklahoma and in 2016 moved to Boise
to work for Cloverdale Funeral Home as a Mortician. I have received my
cremation certification from CANA (Cremation Association of North America) to
be a Certified Cremationist.
