Jacob Flores

Jacob Flores

Grounds Superintendent

I am the Grounds Superintendent. I am responsible for the care and maintenance of our cemetery grounds including the mausoleums, cremation gardens and niches.

I have been the grounds superintendent since October 2011. I began my career as a grounds crew member at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell.  With over 7 years of cemetery maintenance experience, I am responsible for a crew of 4 full-time team members.

Since I'm a native of the Treasure Valley, nothing makes me feel more proud than giving back to the community that I love and that my family loves. When I am not at Cloverdale, I enjoy hunting, fishing and being outdoors in Idaho’s beautiful mountains.

Lynn Leigh

Lynn Leigh

Office Manager

I am the Office Manager responsible for all of the administrative functions of our company including records keeping, human resources and staffing.

Originally from California I moved to Idaho in the 90s to attend school at the University of Idaho. It was there that I met and married my husband in 1996. I worked in the building supply industry for 15 years before starting my career in the funeral industry. I began working as the administrator at our sister cemetery Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in 2008.

In September of 2012, I was promoted to Office Manager and quickly made the changes necessary to allow our business to become more engaged with our client families.

As the mother of 4 active children, I spend most of my free time on the field or court at a number of sports cheering on my children. We love to travel as a family and entertain at our home in Boise.

Paul Kerr

Paul Kerr

Funeral Director and Embalmer

I was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. In 1982, I graduated from Caldwell High School, where much of my time was spent playing drums in both the stage and marching bands. The day after graduation, I started my apprenticeship at Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise, Idaho.

My best friend had been working for the local funeral home in Caldwell, and that was my initial introduction to the funeral profession. Although it started out as just a job, it didn’t take long to realize that it suited me well and was my career of choice. I worked at Cloverdale, completing my apprenticeship, and immediately went on to Mt. Hood Community College, receiving my Associate degree in Funeral Service and Mortuary Sciences in 1985.

Our profession has taught me the value and art of working with people, and I appreciate all the diversity in tasks and functions. Over the years I have specialized in pre-arrangements and sales and funeral directing, of course; I currently specialize in embalming and cremation. I have a lot of passion for my work and always uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship.

I have one son who will be enrolling in the Forestry Program at the University of Idaho.

Alongside my work I also enjoy spending quality free time mountain biking, windsurfing, motorcycling, and cooking, as well as being passionate about playing drums with a local band called The Retreads.

Guy Casablanca

Guy Casablanca

Funeral Director / Embalmer

Guy acquired his Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree in 1992 from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where he was a scholarship recipient and recognized with honors in the field of restorative art.  Licensed in the State of Idaho as both a Funeral Director and Mortician, he has worked in the industry in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky before eventually landing at Cloverdale in 2018.  He possesses a unique combination of creativity, science, and compassionate business skills that have been of high value to the families we serve.

Once a semi-pro goaltender in the East Coast and All American Hockey Leagues, Guy’s life experience is expansive and colorful.  Having spent many years as a professional writer, film director, commercial producer, brand creator, and owner of multiple businesses, his knack for creativity combines perfectly with his professional knowledge.

In his time away from the office, Guy enjoys playing piano and drums, writing, and enjoying quality time with his family.  He can often be heard relieving some stress on the baby grand piano in our Gibson Chapel.

Guy has always made strong connections with the families he’s served and he continues to provide premium service with the utmost professionalism every time.

After retiring from long careers in Public Service and Academia, Larry and Linda have been serving as Ambassadors here at Cloverdale since 2013.

We are lifelong residents of Idaho, and having raised our family in the Treasure Valley, Boise is home.

In addition to serving at Cloverdale, we spend our time traveling the United States on our Honda Gold Wing. Avid classic car fans, we now have a classic 1983 Chevy El Camino which we drive and participate with in car shows in the Northwest.

Being an ordained pastor in the Christian Church, Larry is also an officiant for funerals and weddings.

We consider out time and Cloverdale a ministry to the families we serve, helping them through one of the most difficult times in their lives.
