Paul was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. In 1982, he graduated from Caldwell High School, where much of his time was spent playing drums in both the stage and marching bands. The day after graduation, Paul started my apprenticeship at Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise, Idaho.
Paul's best friend had been working for the local funeral home in Caldwell, and that was his initial introduction to the funeral profession. Although it started out as just a job, it didn’t take long to realize that it suited him well and was his career of choice. Paul worked at Cloverdale, completing his apprenticeship, and immediately went on to Mt. Hood Community College, receiving his Associate degree in Funeral Service and Mortuary Sciences in 1985.
Our profession has taught Paul the value and art of working with people, and he appreciates all the diversity in tasks and functions. Over the years he has specialized in pre-arrangements, sales and funeral directing. Currently Paul specializes in embalming and cremation. He has a lot of passion for his work and always upholds the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Alongside his work he also enjoys spending quality free time mountain biking, windsurfing, motorcycling, and cooking, as well as being passionate about playing drums with a local band called The Retreads.
