Managing Partner
Managing Partner Dave Salove brings more than 45 years of experience to Cloverdale, returning in September of 2018. He had previously been associated more than 25 years ago when the Gibson’s were owners.
Dave is a native Idahoan, born in Nampa and raised in Marsing and Owyhee County. His career as a funeral director and cemeterian spanning more than 4 decades began in 1973 in Boise. He has been associated with funeral homes and cemeteries in the Nampa/Caldwell and Boise areas, in Alaska and more recently was a regional manager of a group of funeral homes and cemeteries along the West Coast from Seattle to San Diego.

Funeral Home Manager
Jake is a funeral professional with many years of experience that came to us in 2016 from Northern Utah. He grew up in and around the funeral industry through a family owned business. A graduate of Box Elder High School in Brigham City Utah, he attended Utah State University, Weber State University and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, where he completed his National Board Certification.
His professional experience includes working in funeral homes in Utah, Arizona and Idaho, where he has gained expertise in funeral directing, restorative arts, embalming, funeral counseling and community education. He is currently licensed in Utah and Idaho.
Jake is married and has six children. In his spare time his hobbies include spending time with his family, boating, restoring old cars, sculpting and watching his children’s sports events.
On his position, Jake says, “I believe funeral service to be a calling, we are each given talents and abilities; only a few are blessed to be able to serve daily. We are called to serve and care for one another, and I am grateful I have the privilege of doing just that and continuing to honor the funeral traditions and ceremonies in a community that I love.”

Office Manager
Lynn is the Office Manager responsible for overseeing all of the administrative functions of our company including records keeping, human resources and staffing.
Originally from California she moved to Idaho in the 90s to attend school at the University of Idaho. It was there that she met and married her husband in 1996. Lynn worked in the building supply industry for 15 years before starting her career in the funeral industry. She began working as the administrator at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in 2008. In September of 2012, Lynn was promoted to Office Manager and quickly made the changes necessary to allow our businesses to become more engaged with our client families.
Lynn is very passionate about giving back to the community and prides herself in giving of her time to many amazing organizations, including her children's schools and being a board member for the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
As the mother of 4 active children, she spends most of her free time on the field or court at a number of sports cheering on her children. Lynn and her family love to travel and entertain at their home in Boise.
Grounds Superintendent
Funeral Director/Celebrant/ Grief Recovery Coordinator
Heather is a licensed Funeral Director in the state of Idaho. She holds certifications as a Crematory Operator, Crematory Administrator, and Cremation Planner. She is also a Certified Celebrant and available to perform meaningful, personalized funeral services.
Multiple times a year, Heather teaches classes in death education and funeral planning to the local community through the Boise Learns program.
Outside of the funeral industry work, Heather is researching the psychological relationship between Thanatology and Communication. On top of teaching classes in Communication at Boise State University, she is working to create an educational program specifically for deathcare and healthcare professionals on how to better communicate with those who are dying and grieving when they cannot speak for themselves.
While her studies and work are her passion, there is still room in her heart to be a dedicated volunteer as an on-call crisis responder for the Trauma Intervention Program of Treasure Valley (TIP).
Funeral Director Apprentice
Tim joined the Cloverdale family in 2020 after relocating
from San Diego, California. He is happily married and has four children.
After serving in the US Army as an Infantryman in
Afghanistan and Iraq, Tim found his passion and purpose serving within the
funeral profession. He has a heart for veterans and the veteran community;
striving to honor and support them whenever possible. Beginning his career in
2009, he worked predominantly in decedent transportation and general
preparation. In 2011, he became a crematory operator and a licensed crematory
manager at a facility that served multiple funeral homes in the greater San
Diego area.
His hobbies include days at the lake and river with his
family and friends, recreational shooting, and a healthy diet of film,
television and music.
Tim is currently pursuing his degree in Mortuary Science.

Lisa
is originally from Montana, and recently moved to Boise from Madison,
Wisconsin, where she was a licensed funeral director and cremation specialist
for 20 years. She holds a B.S. degree in Mortuary Science from the University
of Minnesota- Twin Cities. Lisa is happy to be in Idaho, the state has brought
her great comfort. She attends Holy Apostle Catholic Church and resides in Kuna
with her family.
Funeral Director Apprentice
Originally
from Glasgow, Kentucky, Lauren moved to Idaho in 2019. She is currently a
resident mortician apprentice completing her studies at the Pittsburg Institute
of Mortuary Science. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Western
Kentucky University, a master’s degree in Forensic Anthropology from the
University of Montana, as well as certification in Medicolegal Death
Investigation. In Montana she fell in love with the mountains, so in her spare
time she enjoys fishing, and hiking. Lauren also can be found thrifting, and
cooking southern comfort food. Her appreciation for the West brought her to
Idaho, where she has enjoyed setting down roots and serving the Treasure Valley
community.

Administrative Assistant
Michelle has been with Cloverdale since 2017. She is very
passionate about this industry and her position here at Cloverdale. Aside from
working here at Cloverdale, Michelle and her husband own a gym in Kuna that
they opened in 2018. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her husband
and their three kids, working out, running, and spending time at their family
cabin in Montana.

Nick is an Idaho native, born in Boise and growing up in
Cambridge. He moved back to the valley for college in 1977 and has resided in
Meridian ever since.
Growing up as #5 of 7 kids in a small rural town, Nick was always
fixing someone else’s broken stuff. He found out that fixing and doing things
for others was quite rewarding. He worked 21 years in the office
equipment/copier field before moving on to working for his parish church (still
fixing and being of service to others).
He has been at Cloverdale for 13 years now doing just that,
serving people and fixing things to the best of his ability.
Nick enjoys good rock music
and sings at his church as well as other churches in the Boise area.
Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Nancy works at the front desk answering phones and greeting our families. She has worked for Cloverdale for three years.
Nancy is a native Idahoan. She earned a BS degree in Communications from Northern Arizona University and completed her education degree at Boise State University. She retired from teaching after 37 years.
Nancy and her husband have hosted 12 exchange students, fostered 5 adolescents, taken in nieces, nephew, grandchildren and other students. Neighbors always ask who’s at the “Link Hotel”. She believes “life is enriched by serving”.
Nancy loves martial arts and has participated in international tournaments. She loves spending time at her family’s home in McCall.
Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Margaret Mitchell, an Idaho Native, she grew up in Idaho Falls and moved to Boise where she met and married her husband.
Margaret's career has taken many turns over the years starting in the accounting field and then switching to her current Administrative Assistant position.
She enjoys spending time with her son and his family. She loves camping, backpacking and loves the time that she spends in the quiet of the Idaho Mountains.
Family Service Advisor
Amanda joined the Cloverdale
family as a Family Service Advisor at the start of 2021. She feels honored to
help families through all aspects of the funeral process; preplanning their
funeral arrangements, helping take of all the details involved after the death
has occurred, and so much more.
Amanda played collegiate golf
for The College of Idaho before transferring to Boise State University where
she would go on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice
Administration. After college, Amanda entered the banking world and was
eventually recruited to work for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. She stayed
there for over 11 years, ultimately leaving to go into real estate. She still
holds her real estate license. Her knowledge of the industry has been
beneficial to the family she serves at Cloverdale with their end-of-life needs.
As an Idaho native, Amanda is
proud to say that she still lives within a mile of where she grew up. She loves
spending time with all those she considers family. She still enjoys golfing,
gaming, being creative in her work, and above all, serving others.

Jill has lived in the Treasure Valley for over 47 years, growing up in Caldwell and graduating from Boise State University. She now resides in Meridian, Idaho with her husband and daughter.
She has been a part of the Cloverdale Family for eight years.
Jill enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, hiking and ATV and snowmobiling.

After retiring from long careers in Public Service and Academia, Larry and Linda have been serving as Ambassadors here at Cloverdale since 2013.
We are lifelong residents of Idaho, and having raised our family in the Treasure Valley, Boise is home.
In addition to serving at Cloverdale, we spend our time traveling the United States on our Honda Gold Wing. Avid classic car fans, we now have a classic 1983 Chevy El Camino which we drive and participate with in car shows in the Northwest.
Being an ordained pastor in the Christian Church, Larry is also an officiant for funerals and weddings.
We consider out time and Cloverdale a ministry to the families we serve, helping them through one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Candice
is an Idaho native, born in Grangeville and grew up in Kuna. She ventured out
to Georgia and Texas but moved back home in 2022.
Candice has always had a passion for helping others. She previously worked in
the medical field as a phlebotomist and a certified EMT and has now chosen to
pursue her interest in the funeral industry.
She loves fishing, camping, riding on their 4 wheelers, traveling and spending
time with her husband and 2 daughters.

Jasmine
is a Portland native, she moved to Boise in 2021. She joined the Cloverdale
family as an ambassador after deciding to leave art school to pursue mortuary
science. She is hoping to pursue her degree in Funeral Service at the
Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She is passionate about serving those
in her community as well as learning about new discoveries and advancements in
the death industry. She is also an active alumna of Phi Mu Fraternity.
